JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

Reporting to the Regional Operations & Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical generation and control equipment, along with auxiliary equipment such as electric motors, transformers, relays and other electrical systems. Must be willing to travel extensively within the northern areas by small aircraft.

Preference will be given to beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement.
Hourly rate starts at $33.66. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including location allowance of $16,162.00 per annum, relocation assistance and subsidized housing.
Qulliq Energy Corporation generates electricity and develops energy options under the trade name of Nunavut Power, and is responsible for meeting the electricity needs of the citizens of Nunavut.
